Songbird is a country-themed musical written by Michael Kimmel with music and lyrics by Lauren Pritchard based on the Chekhov’s The Seagull.
Songbird was first produced off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters in NYC in 2015, to positive reviews. A second version is being produced by Two River Theater Company in Red Bank, New Jersey in 2018, retaining some of the original cast.
